Vegans and Vegetarians Have High Suicide Rate

Most of people in India don't eat meat, fish and egg because of their religions and poor economic. India's per capita meat and animal based foods consumption is among world lowest, but India's suicide rate is very high compared to countries with some of world's highest per capita meat consumptions, even when compared to Pakistan, a neighboring country with same type of people and living environment. Pakistanis eat meat as a part of their religion. Pakistan is less developed than India.

India ranks 11th on WHO's list of suicide rate by country.
