Vegans in India have 10% shorter life span than Meat Eaters in Sri Lanka

Veganic India has very low animal meat and fat consumption, in fact most people in India don't eat meat, India has world largest vegan population, but India has very high rate of coronary heart diseases, higher than countries with high meat and animal fat consumption such as France and Finland.

Veganic India is among countries with world's shortest life spans. Vegans of India die 20 years sooner than people in some countries with world's highest meat consumptions.

Vegans of India have 10% shorter life span than people of Sri Lanka. Both countries are very similar in many ways except Sri Lankans eat more meat. 2015 United Nations reports, Sri Lanka's life expectancy is 74.64 years, India's life expectancy is 67.47 years.

India has higher Coronary Heart Disease death rate than countries with much higher meat consumption.

Compared to Sri Lanka on different death rates, India is over 10% higher in Coronary Heart Disease death rate, and:

- 5 times higher in Rheumatic Heart Disease
- more than 10% higher in stroke
- 3 times higher in low birth weight
- 30 times higher in Peptic Ulcer Disease
- 25% higher in Cervical Cancer
- 7 times higher in maternal problems
- 30% higher in Epilepsy
- 2 times higher in Endocrine Disorders
- 30% higher in Stomach Cancer
- 3 times higher in Malnutrition
- 24 times higher in Prostatic Hypertrophy
